Through this research, I analyze an English preacher script from Cape Town, South Africa, and its interpretation in Indonesian by an Indonesian interpreter. The purpose main goal of this research is to know how does consecutive interpreter interpret, deal and cope the difficulties of SL English preaching into Indonesian. Also to know the interpretation accuracy. I analyze the transcription text of Tablighi Jama’at’s in English, and its interpretation in Indonesian which emphasized in target language by using skopos theory. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative with using mode of consecutive interpreting, and by comparing two texts of preaching, the source language (English) and the target language (Indonesian). Within this research, I have found that in Tablighi Jama’at’s interpreting, mostly consecutive interpreters in this congregation do not take note-taking as the memorizer device for helping them to interpret message into audiences. However, they use their memories as the main tool to interpret message to target language. Consequently, the interpreter capability and either his mental dexterity really tested in real time during interpreting was conducted. Overall, the interpretation result was adequately to be comprehended by audiences. Even though, some interpreter utterances was sounded formal, awkward, there were founded repetitious words because of his clumsiness or caused by stage fright. Last but not least, I have also found many special jargon terms on this preaching, and either too with the interpretation result regarding on this congregation preaching. Hopefully, it will be a good input for further next researches, whether especially on interpreting studies and translation research commonly
